Two horny half-wits wreak havoc in Hammersmith: This British comedy follows the misadventures of Eddie and Richie, two single, broke blokes living in London, who spend all their time trying to get laid.
Some Days You Just Can't Get Rid of a Body: Episode 2, "Gas" (1991). The lads try to get rid of the gas man to cover up the fact that they're stealing gas from their neighbor. They hit him on the head repeatedly with a frying pan, then declare him dead. After trying a few half-assed methods to revive him to no avail, they decide they have to get rid of the body. Richie briefly considers eating him and Eddie tries to hide him under the rug. They're just about to drop him out the window on the roof of a passing bus when they realize he's not dead at all.
Happy Death Day: Episode 4, "Apocalypse" (1991). When Richie's aunt dies and leaves him some money, he and Eddie go to a carnival, where a fortune teller tells Richie he's going to die in three days.
Up on the Roof: Episode 5, "'s Up" (1991). While running their neighbor's corner shop while he's at a funeral, the lads go up on the roof to relax and get trapped out there when Richie stupidly removes the cricket bat that was holding the door open in an attempt to prank Eddie.
Rainmaker: Episode 5, "'s Up" (1991). While they're hanging out on the roof of the store they're supposed to be minding, Richie brags to Eddie that he's part Native American and knows a rain dance that really makes it rain. Eddie challenges him to prove it, so Richie does the dance, and later, when they're trapped out on the roof, it starts to rain.
Season 2
Electric Dreams: Episode 1, "Digger" (1992). Richie and Eddie use a computer dating service. Richie is matched with a viscountess who's fallen on hard times, and Eddie is matched with Sarah Ferguson.
We Were Robbed: Episode 2, "Burglary" (1992). Richie falls from the second floor and lands on top of a burglar who was trying to rob him and Eddie. The lads tie up the burglar with a whole lot of "Sellotape" and plan to pawn his bag of stolen goods and run off to the Bahamas. While they're deciding how to kill the burglar, his partner climbs through the window, knocks them out, ties them up, and robs them.
Pathetic Christmas Tree: Episode 5, "Holy" (1992). It's Christmas, and Richie sent Eddie out to get a tree, but he came back with what looks like a single branch in a flower pot.
Take Good Care of My Baby: Episode 5, "Holy" (1992). On Christmas day, someone rings the doorbell and leaves a baby at the lads' front door. When Richie brings him inside, Eddie tells him to "get rid of it" because they're happy as they are, and the baby come between them.
No Room at the Inn: Episode 5, "Holy" (1992). When Richie finds a baby at the front door, he puts a blue towel on his head to play peekaboo and entertain him. Meanwhile, Eddie, Spudgun, and Dave Hedgehog are all wearing paper crowns from their Christmas crackers, and they try to cheer up the baby by giving him gifts of Terry's All Gold, a Frankenstein mask, and a cologne called "Grrr!" Richie points out that he's a virgin wearing a blue headscarf, and he concludes that the baby must be the second coming, and Richie is his holy mother.
Camping Out: Episode 6, "'s Out" (1992). To hide from a guy who wants to kick their arses, Richie drags Eddie on a camping trip in a crappy, polluted corner of Wimbledon Common, where they're terrorized by a flasher and a crazed, naked homeless man.
Season 3
Gender Bender: Episode 5, "Finger" (1995). Eddie steals "Cannonball" Taffy O'Jones's car, and he and Richie find a hotel reservation for Taffy's honeymoon, so they decide to pretend to be the newlywed couple to get a free vacation, and Eddie shoves balloons in his shirt and plays the wife.
America's Funniest Home Videos: Episode 6, "Carnival" (1995). During the "annual Hammersmith riot," Richie procures a BBC video camera. After trying and failing to make some serious videos, Eddie suggests they make a funny video for a show called "Jeremy Beadle's Viciously Hilarious Domestic Violent Incidents." They stage a hilarious domestic violence incident, but Richie forgot to put a tape in the camera. He then gets the brilliant idea to send in a blank tape, saying the joke is they forgot to record the video altogether, so they watch the tape and discover an incriminating clip of the prime minister.
