- Fawlty Towers: Season 2 episode 4, "The Kipper and the Corpse" (1979). A guest dies in his bed, and the staff has to find somewhere to store his body until it can be taken away, but everywhere they put it, another guest almost stumbles across it.
- Night Court: Season 5, episode 6, "Mac's Dilemma" (1987). A Japanese businessman who's a close friend of the governor is brought into court for fraternizing with prostitutes. Immediately after Harry sentences him to community service, he drops dead. Bull is tasked with taking his body to the morgue, so Bull covers it in a sheet and puts it in a wheelchair, which he accidentally loses.
- Bottom: Season 1, episode 2, "Gas" (1991). The lads try to get rid of the gas man to cover up the fact that they're stealing gas from their neighbor. They hit him on the head repeatedly with a frying pan, then declare him dead. After trying a few half-assed methods to revive him to no avail, they decide they have to get rid of the body. - Cheers: Season 10, episode 25, "An Old-fashioned Wedding" (1992). At Woody and Kelly's wedding, Kelly's uncle, who's supposed to officiate, suddenly dies. The gang doesn't want to ruin Woody's big day, so they have to find somewhere to hide the body, which proves to be more difficult than they thought.
- Dharma & Greg: Season 3, episode 16, "Weekend at Larry's" (2000). While Dharma and Greg are housesitting for Abby and Larry, their dogs dig up the remains of Larry's friend, Pinto, who wanted to be cose to Abby and Larry even in death. Dharma and Greg re-bury the body, but the Department of Water and Power shows up to bury some pipes, so Dharma and Greg have to move Pinto. As DWP keeps changing the location of the pipes, Dharma and Greg keep having to re-bury Pinto.
