Season 1
- Home Sweet Office: Episode 11, "The Actor" (2007). After he gets tricked into thinking the band got a $2 million record deal, Murray drops a ton of money on a wrap party and can no longer afford his apartment, so he sleeps in his office, where he washes his underwear in the sink and dries it in the microwave.
Season 2
- American Gigolo: Episode 2, "New Cup" (2009). When Bret buys a second cup, it starts a snowball effect that leads to the electricity being cut off in his and Jemaine's apartment and both of them having to sell their instruments to pay their bills. To make some extra money, Jemaine decides to become a prostitute.
- We Were Robbed: Episode 5, "Unnatural Love" (2009). Jemaine accidentally starts dating an Australian woman, and Bret and Murray want him to dump her, but he's not sure how he feels until he comes home from pondering and finds Bret duct-taped to the door and their apartment cleaned out, and Bret tells Jemaine his Australian girlfriend and her roommate robbed them.
- Sticky Situation: Episode 8, "New Zealand Town" (2009). Bret and Jemaine get addicted to using hair gel, and when they run out, they're afraid to leave their apartment because they don't look cool without their gel. As an alternative, they try Elmer's glue, and Bret accidentally glues his hand to his head while Jemaine glues his head to a pillow.
- We'll Put on a Musical: Episode 10, "Evicted" (2009). Bret and Jemaine get evicted from their apartment because they've been paying their rent in New Zealand dollars, so Murray shows them the musical he's been secretly writing about their lives, and he decides they should put on the musical in one last ditch effort to make enough money to pay their back rent.
