Dr. Katz is a therapist with patients who are exclusively 90s comedians, a receptionist who can't be bothered, and an adult son who refuses to get a regular job in one of the first fully improvised comedies on TV and one of the first animated shows to be produced in "Squigglevison."
Suddenly Psychic: Season 2, episode 13, "ESP" (1996). When Ben correctly guesses who called Dr. Katz one morning, he starts to believe he has ESP, and he spends the day lecturing Laura and Dr. Katz about his so-called "powers."
School Reunion: Season 3, episode 13, "Reunion" (1997). Ben gets invited to his fifth high school reunion, and after looking through his old yearbook, he starts to get nervous about seeing his old classmates and tells Dr. Katz he doesn't want to go, but Dr. Katz talks him into it, and when he gets home, he confesses that he actually had a great time.
America's Most Wanted: Season 4, episode 11, "Alibi" (1997). Ben and Dr. Katz see a story on the news about a car that hit a mailbox in their neighborhood, and eyewitnesses describe the driver as a bald Caucasian man in his late 40s, and Ben immediately suspects his dad. He continually urges Dr. Katz to turn himself in until the news announces the caught the mailbox murderer.
Chain Letter: Season 5, episode 7, "Chain Letter" (1998). Ben receives a chain letter and has a hard time finding enough people to send it to. He calls Laura every few minutes, trying sneaky ways to get her address, but she refuses to give it to him.

Matt at first only answers with Harvard sporting events. When he says the last one is the Bat Cave, Dr. Katz replies, "You're right!"
