Botched Suggestion Box
The gang uses the suggestion box in the wrong way.

- Are You Being Served?: Season 3, episode 8, "New Look" (1975). Mr. Rumbold sets up a suggestion box to come up with ideas to boost sales on the floor, but the best suggestion is that Mr. Rumbold "do something physically impossible with the suggestion box."
- Cheers: Season 7, episode 8, "Jumping Jerks" (1988). Rebecca sets up a suggestion box in the bar, and Sam uses it to "suggest" that she sleep with him.
- NewsRadio: Season 3, episode 14, "Complaint Box" (1997). To comply with the employee conduct guidelines, Dave asks Joe to set up a complaint box for the office, and no one takes it seriously. They all put in fake complaints, including, "You got chocolate in my peanut butter" and "You got peanut butter in my chocolate."
- Spin City: Season 2, episode 20, "The Pope of Gracie Mansion" (1998). Mike says he has to take the suggestion box because the only suggestions anyone put in it were, "Wisconsin rules" (James) and that every Friday should be "go without your bra day" (Stewart).
- The Office (US): Season 2, episode 8, "Performance Review" (2005). Jan wants to hear some of Michael's ideas at his performance review, and the only one he can remember is the suggestion box, which he implemented years ago but forgot about. So when Jan arrives Michael leads their "weekly suggestion box meeting," where he reads out suggestions like, "What should we do to prepare for Y2K?" and comments about his BO and bad breath before he gets to one that says, "Don't sleep with your boss."
