• Just Shoot Me!: Season 3, episode 25, "The Odd Couple: Part 2" (1999). Maya and Elliot want stop Finch and Adrienne from getting married. Nina mistakenly tells them the couple are joining a mass wedding held by her cult, so Maya and Elliot rush to the cult to stop the wedding and accidentally get married along with all the other couples.
• Arrested Development: Season 3, episode 10, "Fakin' It" (2006). Maeby and George Michael act out a pretend wedding for the elderly patients at the hospital, but a mix-up causes a real priest to step in for the pretend priest, and he ends up marrying them for real.
• The Office (US): Season 5, episode 9, "The Surplus" (2008). Well demonstrating how Angela and Andy's wedding will proceed at his farm, Dwight hires a Mennonite priest who only speaks German to perform the ceremony for him and Angela, but what Angela doesn't know is that the priest is performing a real ceremony, and she and Dwight are actually getting married.
