An artist creates a work of art based on a character, and the character isn't happy with their depiction.

- It's a Living: Season 3, episode 21, "America's Sweetheart" (1986). Dot dates a cartoonist who creates a character based on her named "Betty Spaghetti," who looks funny and is always screwing things up. Dot feels insulted by her portrayal, but everyone else loves the character.
- Newhart: Season 8, episode 9, "Attack of the Killer Aunt" (1989). Joanna's nutty aunt, who tried to kill Dick before their wedding, comes to visit and gives Joanna a portrait she painted of her and Dick that portrays Dick as a fat, old, bald man. Joanna loves it and wants to hang it up in the inn, but Dick hates it for obvious reasons.
- Just Shoot Me!: Season 3, episode 7, "Puppetmaster" (1998). Maya a children's show host named Steven, who creates a new puppet character called Miss Panda, and after every one of their dates, he has Miss Panda do the same things Maya did, like showing up late and eating the last slice of pizza, but much more exaggerated so she looks like a crazy bitch.
- Frasier: Season 7, episode 21, "The Three Faces of Frasier" (2000). A restaurant known for hanging sketches of the celebrities who eat there unveils a sketch of Frasier with a giant, bulbous forehead. Frasier hates it and asks the restaurant owner, Stefano, to commission a new sketch, but the new one doesn't look anything like him.
