A storyline that involves a trip to Las Vegas filled with gambling, celebrities, and concerts. Usually someone develops a gambling addiction, and occasionally there's a quickie wedding.

- Sanford and Son: Season 1, episode 5, "Earthquake II" (1975). When an earthquake leaves Fred and Lamont's house a shambles, and the newspaper warns of an even bigger one on the way, Fred leaves Lamont to sell the house while he takes a trip to Vegas and gambles away all his money.
- Perfect Strangers: Season 2, episode 5, "Babes in Babylon" (1986). Larry and Balki win a trip to Las Vegas, and Larry is determined to keep himself and Balki away from the casinos so they don't become gambling addicts like their Uncle Pete.
- It's a Living: Season 5, episode 9, "The Vegas Show: Part 2" (1987). The gang goes to Vegas to see Sonny play a casino, and Amy gets addicted to gambling while Nancy and Howard tie the knot in front of a bad Elvis impersonator.
- ALF: Season 4, episode 15, "Love on the Rocks" (1990). When Neal decides to drive to Las Vegas to re-marry his ex-wife, Margaret, Alf sneaks into the backseat to try to stop him from making a big mistake. While Neal is in the chapel telling Margaret the wedding's off, Alf is winning big on a slot machine in the next room.
- Malcolm in the Middle: Season 5, episode 1, "Vegas" (2003). Hal has a dream that he wins a jackpot in a casino, so when he finds out that Malcolm won a science award that's being presented at a ceremony in Las Vegas, he cashes out his life insurance policy and takes the family on a trip. On their way back, he finds the very slot machine from his dream and wins, but his prize is a a free hotel stay where he'd have to sit through a presentation on a timeshare.
