• What's Happening!!: Season 3, episode 20, "First Class Coach" (1979). Big Earl asks Dwayne to coach Little Earl's basketball team temporarily, but the boys on the team think Big Earl is too hard on them, and they decide they want Dwayne to coach them full time.
• Diff'rent Strokes: Season 3, episode 6, "Football Father" (1980). The coach of Arnold's pee-wee football team is a total jerk who won't let Arnold play because he's more concerned about winning than about the kids having fun.
• Cheers: Season 2, episode 8, "Manager Coach" (1983). Coach volunteers to coach a little league baseball team, but his coaching technique is a way too aggressive for the little boys on the team.
• The Golden Girls: Season 4, episode 12, "Blind Date" (1989). Rose is coaching a little league football team, and she's feeling overwhelmed with all of her duties, which causes her to be extremely hard on the little tots, so Dorothy and Sophia agree to help her.
• It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Season 2, episode 6, "The Gang Gives Back" (2006). The gang has to do community service, and Dennis, Mac, and Sweet Dee are assigned to coach opposing basketball teams. Frank executes a hostile takeover of Dennis's team and bribes the star player on to stay home to fix the game and rob his Vietnamese gambling buddies. Meanwhile, Dennis and Mac coach their respective teams to play dirty, and when the big game starts, it quickly descends into complete chaos.
