One or more characters try to rig a raffle in their favor. Sometimes they're running the raffle themselves.

• The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis: Season 1, episode 1, "Caper at the Bijou" (1959). Dobie and Maynard plan to rig the raffle at the movie theater so he can win enough money to take Thalia on a date.
• The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis: Season 4, episode 36, "The Devil and Dobie Gillis" (1963). Chatsworth wants Dobie to help him rig the raffle at his family's charity bazaar so they can split the $5,000 prize.
• The Patty Duke Show: Season 2, episode 20, "The Raffle" (1965). Patty runs a raffle to win a date with Richard, and the tickets sell like hotcakes, but Patty starts to get jealous of all the girls buying tickets, so she tries to buy them all back to guarantee she'll win.
• Father Ted: Season 2, episode 2, "Think Fast, Father Ted" (1996). Ted and Dougal hold a raffle to raise money to fix their leaky roof, but the car the archdiocese gave them to raffle off gets ruined when Ted tries to hammer out a dent, so they borrow a car from "The Dancing Priest" and rig the raffle so that they'll win the car, and they can give it back. Unfortunately, Jack crashes the car, and the gambling-addicted DJ runs off with the money.
