Ah, the Dribble Glass
Someone pulls a prank on another character by secretly slipping them a "dribble glass."

- The Bob Newhart Show: Season 4, episode 24, "Peeper Two" (1976). Bob's old college buddy, the Peeper, is back with a sad story about how his wife of 22 years left him for the milkman, but he's not too depressed to play one of his old pranks. He pours Bob a drink in a dribble glass.
- Cheers: Season 3, episode 10, "Diane's Allergy" (1984). It's Carla's birthday, and everyone's been giving her gag gifts. When Diane and Frasier give her their gift, a set of beautiful crystal glasses, she thinks she finally got something real, then she takes a sip from one of the glasses, and it turns out to be what Frasier calls "fine dribble crystal."
- Newhart: Season 3, episode 7, "Poor Reception" (1984). George demonstrates all the practical jokes he has planned for his mischievous friend, Dutch, including a dribble glass, by basically pranking himself.
- ALF: Season 1, episode 20, "Going Out of My Head Over You" (1987). Alf plays practical jokes on the Tanners, including giving Willie a dribble glass.
- Cheers: Season 6, episode 23, "Bar Wars" (1988). Sam and Carla prank Gary's Olde Towne Tavern by pretending to bury the hatchet with a toast. When the bar staff and patrons raise their glasses, they realize they were all given dribble glasses.
- Just Shoot Me!: Season 2, episode 10, "Elliot the Geek" (1998). Jack has been giving Finch tips on how to dominate people, but he's started using his newfound skills for evil, so Jack gets him back using a few more tricks of the trade, including the old dribble glass.
