• Night Court: Season 3, episode 8, "Up on the Roof" (1985). A famous rock star is desperate for some time alone because he's constantly surrounded by crazed fans.
• The Nanny: Season 4, episode 22, "No Muse is Good Muse" (1997). After watching MTV with Maggie, Fran thinks she can write a hit song for a rock star named Tasha, so she and Val disguise themselves as maids and sneak into Tasha's hotel room, where they hear her complain to her agent about how she's so miserable being famous that she can no longer write good songs.
• Party Down: Season 2, episode 1, "Jackal Onassis Backstage Party" (2010). Famous weird rock star, Jackal Onassis, tells Henry and Roman that he hates his phoney life and wishes he could be like them, so he switches places with Roman and tends bar while Roman walks around in his clothes and makeup, trying to pick up chicks.
