• ALF: Season 1, episode 8, "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue" (1986). Alf develops a crush on Lynn, and he writes a song about her and records a music video to show her how he feels.
• Head of the Class: Season 1, episode 19, "Video Activity" (1987). The IHP class decides to make a video to put in the city's time capsule, so Dr. Samuels puts Alan in charge of it to make sure they make the video he wants; the result is excruciatingly dull, so Dennis destroys the tape, and they record a music video instead.
• It's a Living: Season 5, episode 19, "The Ginger's Grandmother Show" (1988). The waitresses help Sonny and his friend Louie record a music video of "The Heart of Rock & Roll" (Huey Lewis and the News) with cameos by Nancy, Howard, and even Ginger's grandmother, who's in town for a visit.
