• The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis: Season 3, episode 8, "The Richest Squirrel in Town" (1961). Some money was stolen from Mr. Pomfritt's desk, and Maynard suddenly comes into the same amount of money, claiming a squirrel gave it to him. When Dobie tries to clear up the matter, he becomes the prime suspect.
• The Odd Couple: Season 1, episode 13, "The Blackout" (1970). After a brief blackout, some money is missing from the poker pot, and everyone suspects Oscar of stealing it, even though he swears he's innocent.
• Welcome Back, Kotter: Season 2, episode 2, "Inherit the Halibut" (1976). When the class fund goes missing, the Sweathogs all point the finger at Freddie, the class treasurer, who suspiciously just bought a new bike, but Freddie maintains his innocence, so they hold a mock trial.
