• The Simpsons: Season 3, episode 13, "Radio Bart" (1992). For Bart's birthday, Homer gives him a microphone that let's him talk through any radio. When Bart drops his radio into a well, he ceases the opportunity to prank the whole town by pretending to be a boy named Timmy O'Toole who fell down the well. After the town rallies behind Timmy, Bart goes back to the well to try to get his radio out, but he accidentally falls down the well for real.
• Spin City: Season 4, episode 8, "How to Bury a Millionaire" (1999). Mike plans a photo op for the mayor where a baby is being rescued from a well, but the mayor accidentally falls down a nearby hole and has to be rescued himself.
• 3rd Rock from the Sun: Season 5, episode 18, "Dick and Harry Fall Down a Hole" (2000). Dick and Harry both fall down a hole, and Tommy uses the opportunity to sell T-shirts, while Sally yells at the "hole expert" the police hired to rescue them because he's taking too long.
• Malcolm in the Middle: Season 5, episode 1, "Vegas" (2003). While attempting to build a fence, Francis and Otto separately fall into the same old well and soon they're at each other's throats in the cramped space.
