• Taxi: Season 4, episode 18, "The Unkindest Cut" (1982). Elaine drops a bundle on a haircut from a famous stylist and gets butchered, but she's afraid to go back and get him to fix it or demand a refund, so the guys go with her to back her up, and Louie dumps a bucket of hair dye on the stylist's head.
• The Powers That Be: Season 2, episode 8, "St. Caitlyn of Shears" (1993). Caitlyn goes to the salon to cheer herself up, but it makes her more depressed when the stylist cuts most of her hair off. She secludes herself in her bedroom, and when she finally comes out, she has found Jesus.
• Seinfeld: Season 5, episode 8, "The Barber" (1993). Jerry doesn't want to break up with is longtime barber, Enzo, so he tries to sneak around behind his back and get a haircut from his nephew, but Enzo comes in on his day off and insists on giving Jerry a haircut. The result is so bad that Jerry's too embarrassed to participate in Elaine's charity bachelor auction.
• Wings: Season 6, episode 4, "The Spark and How to Get It" (1994). Casey can't afford her usual fancy beauty salon in New York, so Helen recommends her salon, "Yankee Doodle Scissors," but on the way there, she gets sidetracked and ends up getting a haircut from Lowell's cousin Beevo.
• Frasier: Season 3, episode 16, "Look Before You Leap" (1996). It's February 29th, and Frasier is encouraging everyone to "take a leap," so Daphne decides to finally change her hair, but she comes home sobbing because of her frightening new 'do.
