• Car 54, Where Are You?: Season 1, episode 14, "Get Well, Officer Schnauzer" (1961). Muldoon accidentally hands a bank teller a note written by the notorious bank robber, No Face, so the teller thinks he's robbing the bank.
• The Munsters: Season 1, episode 21, "Don't Bank on Herman" (1965). The police are looking for bank robbers wearing Halloween costumes, so when Herman and Grandpa go to the bank to make a withdrawal, the staff think they're the robbers.
• The Bob Newhart Show: Season 5, episode 21, "Desperate Sessions" (1977). A bank robber who was in line in front of Bob hides out in Bob's office and holds him hostage.
• Frasier: Season 10, episode 18, "Roe to Perdition" (2003). When an ATM accidentally gives Martin an extra $40, Daphne convinces him to return it to the bank, but that proves to be an impossible task. After trying to return the money several different ways, Martin storms up to the teller and says aggressively, "I'm going to talk, and you're going to listen, and you're going to do exactly as I ask," leading the guard to assume he's robbing the bank and apprehend him.
