- The Odd Couple: Season 2, episode 15, "Security Arms" (1972). After their apartment gets robbed, Felix insists that he and Oscar move to a building that's so secure that no one can get in or out of their apartment.
- Are You Being Served?: Season 2, episode 4, "Big Brother" (1974). In response to a rise in shoplifting, Mr. Rumbold installs security cameras around the floor and becomes obsessed with watching the staff and tracking their movements, so they decide to play a prank on him by convincing him he's dying.
- Wings: Season 8, episode 18, "Ms. Write" (1997). Helen feels nervous when Joe's on a flight and she's home alone, so they decide to install a security system. When Antonio finds out, he offers to install one for them, but his shoddy work terrorizes Joe and Helen with loose wires, laser beams, bright lights, and overly-sensitive alarms
- NewsRadio: Season 4, episode 14, "Security Door" (1998). Dave installs a new security door, and the staff refuses to use it correctly, causing Dave to lose his mind trying to enforce the new security measures.
- Just Shoot Me!: Season 2, episode 18, "The Kiss" (1998). Jack discovers that Finch has been renting out his parking spot, and he decides he can no longer trust him, so he installs a security camera in front of Finch's desk, but Finch spots the camera right away and responds by mooning it.
- Black Books: Season 1, episode 5, "The Big Lockout" (2000). After the shop gets robbed (because Manny left the door unlocked), Manny has a security door installed, but he doesn't pay attention when the technician tells him how to use it, so he accidentally locks Bernard outside and himself inside for the whole night.
