- The Odd Couple: Season 3, episode 21, "The Odyssey Couple" (1973). When Oscar's mother prods him about finding "a nice girl," Oscar lies and tells her he has a girlfriend, so he has to scramble to find a date. Felix offers to set him up with a Greek woman named Helen, but first Oscar has to get to know her entire family.
- Are You Being Served?: Season 6, episode 3, "Do You Take This Man?" (1978). Mrs. Slocombe announces her engagement to a Greek man she met at a bar, but her fiancé was asked to break the engagement at the last minute. That request came from his wife. Since the wedding is already booked, and Mrs. Slocombe's American uncle promised to pay for it, the gang bands together to throw a fake Greek wedding with Mr. Humphries standing in as the groom.
- Too Close for Comfort: Season 6, episode 20, "Acropolis Now" (1986). Iris announces that she's marrying a Greek man named Alex, whom she met only two weeks ago, and Henry thinks he's just after her money. Meanwhile, Alex's son, Peter, thinks Iris is just after his father's money.
- Frasier: Season 5, episode 16, "Beware of Greeks" (1998). Martin's nephew is getting married, but his mother has made it clear that she doesn't want Martin and his family there because years ago, Frasier encouraged the groom not to go to medical school and become a juggler instead. Frasier talks his aunt into letting them come, but he once again ruins the party with his advice.
