A character overhears the gang talking trash about them and is offended. Usually they pretend they didn't hear, but it almost always comes out.

Appearances

• NewsRadio: Season 2, episode 12, "Bitch Session" (1996). While Dave is under the desk trying to fix his phone, the staff assumes he's at his dentist appointment, and they hold their regular bitch session in his office, complete with a sketch performed by Beth and Bill. Dave is so upset that he calls his mom.
• The Comedians: Episode 12, "Overhear" (2015). Billy overhears Josh and his friends talking about him and making fun of his old-style comedy. At first, he pretends he didn't hear, but it slips out, and their ensuing argument almost ruins some promo takes.
• The Muppets.: Episode 4, "Pig Out" (2015). Fozzie has some new material for his comedy act. The only problem is, they're all insulting cracks about his girlfriend, Becky, and her sweating. Becky teaches him a lesson by going to the office and telling all his friends about how he shakes off after a shower and cries whenever he hears "True Colors."
