Follows a fictionalized, bumbling version of Seinfeld co-creator, Larry David, as he constantly gets into awkward social situations with his friends, family, other celebrities, and total strangers.
Plastic Fantastic: Episode 2, "Ben's Birthday Party" (2004). Richard Lewis's friend's daughter, who calls him "Uncle Richard," wants to be an actress, and she's thinking of getting breast implants, but Richard knows this would drive her father crazy, so he asks Larry to help him talk her out of it.
Will You Marry Me Again?: Episode 9, "The Survivor" (2004). Larry and Cheryl renew their vows for their 10th anniversary, and of course, bizarre circumstances cause a series of unfortunate events: An angry Holocaust survivor causes Cheryl to spill wine on Larry's suit, Larry spends so much time memorizing his lines for The Producers that he forgets his custom vows and has to make some up on the spot, and the ceremony ends with Larry stomping on the Rabbi's hand as he's placing the ceremonial glass on the floor.
We'll Put on a Musical: Episode 10, "Opening Night" (2004). In a parody of the musical itself, Larry appears with David Schwimmer in The Producers on Broadway, and Mel Brooks and Anne Bancroft are disappointed that their plan to make the show flop by casting Larry was a disaster.
Season 5
Celebrity Sandwich: Episode 1, "The Larry David Sandwich" (2005). Jeff tells Larry that a local delicatessen has named a sandwich after him, and Larry is excited until Jeff tells him what's in the sandwich: whitefish, sable, capers, onions, and cream cheese. He's so disgusted that he tries to get one of the other celebrities to switch sandwiches with him.
Surprise, You're Adopted!: Episode 1, "The Larry David Sandwich" (2005). Larry's father has a stroke, and just before he goes into surgery, he tells Larry that he was adopted. Larry's not sure if it's true or if his dad is out of it from the stroke, so he tracks down his old nanny to confirm it. Unfortunately, she's on her death bed, and she dies before she can give him an answer.
Ticket Scalping: Episode 1, "The Larry David Sandwich" (2005). Larry waited too long to buy temple tickets for the High Holy Days, and they're sold out, so he has to buy them from a scalper, and an antagonistic kid turns him into security, so they escort Larry and Cheryl out.
Kidney Transplant: Episode 5, "Lewis Needs a Kidney" (2005). Richard Lewis needs a kidney, and Larry is reluctant to take a blood test to see if he's a match. When he finally agrees, Lewis is upset that it took him so long.
Lie for Me: Episode 8, "The Ski Lift" (2005). To avoid giving Richard Lewis a kidney, Larry tries to butter up the head of the kidney consortium, Ben Heineman, an Orthodox Jew. He invites Heineman on a ski weekend with Cheryl, Jeff, and Susie, and he asks them all to play along with his ruse to convince Heineman that he's also an Orthodox Jew. He somehow talks Susie into pretending to be his Orthodox Jewish wife, while Jeff and Cheryl pretend to be married to each other.
Misspent Money: Episode 9, "The Korean Bookie" (2005). After Larry purposely damages Ben Heineman's car, he writes him a check for the damages. Later, Larry sees Heineman's car and notices he didn't get it repaired. When he confronts Heineman about it, Heineman says he gave the money to his daughter, and when Larry sees her at a wedding, he realizes she used the money to get breast implants.
Season 6
Erotic Bakery: Episode 1, "Meet the Blacks" (2007). The Davids and the Greenes show up a day late to the Funkhausers' party and pretend they got the day wrong, so Marty invites them in and serves them leftover cake, which they all agree is the best cake they ever tasted, so when the Davids throw a party, they go to the same bakery and discover that the cake Marty served originally looked like a giant penis. The Davids decline to buy the cake, but Jeff picks one up without even looking in the box and brings it to the party, horrifying the guests.
Exclusive School: Episode 3, "The Ida Funkhouser Roadside Memorial" (2007). Larry and Cheryl are trying to get Keysha and Daryl into an exclusive school, and Larry threatens their chances by pissing off the dean of admissions, and his attempt to make amends not only ruins it fro Keysha and Daryl but Sami Greene too.
Season 7
Jumper: Episode 6, "The Bare Midriff" (2009). Larry accidentally splashes urine on a portrait of Jesus in his assistant's bathroom, and she and her mother, Madeline, think it's a miracle. They plan to buy and RV and travel the country showing off their "crying Jesus," but when they see Larry relieving himself outside the building, they realize what happened, and Madeline is so distraught that she climbs up on the roof, and Larry almost falls off while rescuing.
Drop Dead: Episode 7, "The Black Swan" (2009). Larry gets frustrated with a fellow club member named Norm for golfing too slowly, so he chews him out, and they get in a shouting match. Later, in the locker room, another club member tells Larry that Norm had a heart attack and passed away because Larry yelled at him.
Season 8
Don't Speak: Episode 5, "Vow of Silence" (2011). A friend of Larry's has taken a vow of silence on the advice of a "spiritual advisor," but Larry thinks he's cheating because he just mouths everything he wants to say so people can read his lips.
Season 9
Worthless Worker: Episode 1, "Foist!" (2017). Larry's new assistant came highly recommended, but she turned out to be completely incompetent, and Larry doesn't want to fire her because she walks with a limp and a cane, so he takes a tip from her former boss, Jimmy Kimmel, and decides to "foist" her on Susie to help with her new soap business.
The Bad Seed: Episode 7, "Namaste" (2017). Larry dates Susie's friend, Bridget, and her son is rude and insulting towards him. Bridget tries to explain away his behavior by telling Larry he has Asberger's, but Larry is convinced the kid is just an asshole.
Season 10
Method Actor: Episode 8, "Elizabeth, Margaret and Larry" (2020). A friend of Larry's is making a movie with a "Larry David-type writer" character played by Jon Hamm, so Jon follows Larry around to learn how to act like him.
Amnesia: Episode 10, "The Spite Store" (2020). Larry's former assistant, Alice, who suffered brain damage after choking on one of his scones, develops amnesia and has no memory of Larry or what happened, but when she visits Larry's spite coffee shop and orders a scone, it all comes rushing back.
Season 11
Misspent Money: Episode 2, "Angel Muffin" (2021). Jeff gets a dental hygienist named Angie pregnant and gives her money for an abortion. Afterwards, she tells him there were complications and she needs more money, but Jeff is suspicious, so he asks Larry to spy on her at dentist, and Larry notices that she's sporting brand new diamond earrings, and she tells a co-worker that she "treated herself." Later, Larry sees Angie at a restaurant buying her friend lunch, and she tells her she's taking a "10-day retreat" to Costa Rica.
Mounting the Hustings: Episode 7, "Irma Kostroski" (2021). Susie campaigns for Jimmy Mayhew, a candidate for mayor or Santa Monica, and she tries to convince Larry to canvass for him. At first, Larry refuses, but then he finds out that the city council can repeal ordinances, like the one that requires him to have a fence around his pool, and he befriends a councilwoman, who takes him canvassing with her.
