In this spinoff of Cheers, Dr. Frasier Crane moves back to his hometown of Seattle to host a call-in radio show, and soon he finds himself moving his disabled ex-cop father into his swanky apartment along with his father's home healthcare worker and quirky dog.
We Said No Gifts: Episode 12, "Miracle on Third or Fourth Street" (1993). Frasier and Roz agreed not to exchange Christmas gifts, so Frasier bought Roz a cheap gag gift, but unbeknownst to him, Roz bought him a very nice leather briefcase.
Bachelor Auction: Episode 14, "Can't Buy Me Love" (1994). Frasier and Bulldog put themselves up for bid in a charity bachelor auction Martin's friend is organizing. When nobody bids on Bulldog, Martin asks Daphne to shill, but she ends up making the only bid and wins. Meanwhile, a beautiful model wins a date with Frasier, but instead she asks him to babysit her daughter.
Awkward Awards: Episode 18, "And the Whimper is..." (1994). Frasier and Roz are nominated for a "SeaBea" award, and they're desperate to win, so they decide to buy fancy gifts for all of the judges, convinced they'll sway the vote their way. Meanwhile a retiring broadcaster who has been nominated several times but never won, is also hoping he'll be a winner. They're all surprised when two completely different people receive the award.
Poor Baby: Episode 23, "Frasier Crane's Day Off" (1994). Frasier gets the flu and spends all his time lying in bed, barking demands at Daphne, like asking for lemonade made with "fresh lemons," a "sprig of mint," and a "bendy" straw.
Season 2
Little Black Book: Episode 3, "The Matchmaker" (1994). Daphne is depressed because her love life is nonexistent, so Frasier decides to find her a man. When he tells Roz, she takes out her little black book and starts naming possible dates.
Not That There's Anything Wrong with That: Episode 3, "The Matchmaker" (1994). Frasier wants to fix up Daphne with the new station manager, Tom, so he invites Tom over for dinner, but Tom misunderstands the invite and thinks Frasier wants to date him.
Surprise Delivery: Episode 4, "Flour Child" (1994). After Frasier's car breaks down, he, Niles, and Martin are in the back of a cab when the pregnant driver suddenly goes into labor, and Martin ends up delivering the baby because both Frasier and Niles panic.
Mounting the Hustings: Episode 7, "The Candidate" (1994). Martin appears in two commercials for a political candidate, so Frasier and Niles decide to campaign for his opponent.
Playing the Market: Episode 15, "You Scratch My Book..." (1995). Daphne is feeling lucky, so she gives Niles money to invest in the stock market. Her stocks lose money, but Niles can't bring himself to tell Daphne, so he just keeps giving more money back to her.
Skin Deep: Episode 19, "Someone to Watch Over Me" (1995). It's time for the annual SeaBea awards ceremony, and Roz discovers a big zit on her nose, so when she wins an award, she accepts it with her hair covering her face.
Awkward Awards: Episode 19, "Someone to Watch Over Me" (1995). Frasier and Roz have once again been nominated for a SeaBea award, but Frasier thinks a fan is stalking him, and Roz has a pimple on her nose, so Frasier spends the whole night being paranoid and Roz spends the whole night trying to cover her face.
Stranded: Episode 20, "Breaking the Ice" (1995). Martin convinces Frasier and Niles to go ice fishing with him, and Niles accidentally drops the car keys in the frozen lake, trapping them all in the freezing cold cabin for the night.
Jumper: Episode 22, "Agents in America: Part 3" (1995). Bebe stands on the ledge of the KACL building and threatens to jump so she can pretend Frasier talked her down and use it as a bargaining chip to re-negotiate his contract with the station.
Season 3
Let's Write a Song: Episode 3, "Martin Does It His Way" (1995). When Frasier and Niles learn that Martin wrote a song for Frank Sinatra, the offer to help him with the music so he can send it to the Chairman of the Board.
Ashes to Ashes: Episode 3, "Martin Does It His Way" (1995). Niles is tasked with scattering the late Aunt Louise's ashes, and he decides to do it in a park where he once fell out of a tree and she laughed at him, but he can't get the urn open, so Frasier tries to help, and when he pops the lid off, he and Niles are both covered in her cremains.
Eulogize This: Episode 3, "Martin Does It His Way" (1995). An aunt nobody liked passed away, and she requested that Frasier give her eulogy, but he's totally at a loss for what to say. When Frank Sinatra turns down the song Martin wrote for him, Frasier seizes the opportunity and conducts an elaborate performance of the song in lieu of a eulogy.
On Strike: Episode 6, "Sleeping with the Enemy" (1995). The KACL support staff, including Roz, go on strike, and Frasier tries to rally the on-air talent to back them up.
Between Floors: Episode 7, "The Adventures of Bad boy and Dirty Girl" (1995). Frasier gets stuck in a stalled elevator with Kate, the station manager, with home he's been having secret trysts at the office, but they're trying to keep their hands off each other, which proves difficult in the confined space.
Crude Craft: Episode 11, "An American Family" (1974). Jerry makes Carol a brooch out of one of his patient's old braces. Carol hates it but wears it anyway to make Jerry happy.
Dance Lessons: Episode 13, "Moon Dance" (1996). Newly-separated Niles has a date to a ball, but he doesn't know how to dance, so Daphne volunteers to teach him some moves.
Write What You Know: Episode 13, "The Episode Where Diane Comes Back" (1996). Diane shows up in Seattle and tells Frasier that a theater is putting on a play she wrote. Frasier watches a rehearsal and realizes the play is about her time at Cheers, and it makes him look like a pompous windbag who doesn't care at all that she jilted him at the altar.
Bad Hair Day: Episode 16, "Look Before You Leap" (1996). It's February 29th, and Frasier is encouraging everyone to "take a leap," so Daphne decides to finally change her hair, but she comes home sobbing because of her frightening new 'do.
Top Fist: Episode 17, "High Crane Drifter" (1996). Frasier is in a bad mood because he feels people are being especially rude to him, so when a guy steals a table from him and Niles at the coffee shop, Frasier picks him and throws him out the door. A local newspaper publishes a story about it, and soon everyone in Seattle thinks Frasier is a badass, and they're all inspired by him to take revenge on people who irk them.
Ugly Bridesmaid Dress: Episode 22, "Frasier Loves Roz" (1996). Frasier is going to be a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding, and she laments her acid green dress, explaining to Frasier that it's supposed to make the bride "glow" in comparison. Frasier remarks that she could donate it to a thrift store and "make some Irish drag queen very happy."
Focus Group: Episode 23, "The Focus Group" (1996). A focus group listens to Frasier's show, and every one of them loves it except for one guy, leading Frasier to become obsessed with changing his mind.
Season 4
Pretend We're a Couple: Episode 1, "The Two Mrs. Cranes" (1996). Daphne pretends Niles is her husband to fool an old boyfriend who still carries a torch for her, and Niles is all too happy to oblige.
Exclusive School: Episode 7, "A Lilith Thanksgiving" (1996). Frasier and Lilith want to get Frederick into Marbury Academy, so they meet with Dr. Campbell, the headmaster, on Thanksgiving in an attempt to ingratiate themselves to him. When they hear that Dr. Campbell's turkey is undercooked, they bring him the one that Niles has been cooking for their dinner. Campbell reluctantly accepts Frederick on the condition that Frasier and Lilith never show their faces at the school.
Gruesome Gift: Episode 8, "Our Father Whose Art Ain't in Heaven" (1996). To make up for a fight they had in a restaurant, Martin buys Frasier a painting Frasier pretended to like to avoid offending the restaurant owner. Frasier hates it, but he doesn't want to hurt his father's feelings, so he pretends to love it.
Condo Board Coup: Episode 11, "Three Days of the Condo" (1997). Frasier can't stand the current tyrannical condo board president, who rules the building with an iron fist, so when a mysterious figure asks him to run to take her place, he accepts and makes an impassioned speech at the next meeting that backfires spectacularly.
Play Ball: Episode 16, "The Unnatural" (1997). Roz has to sit out the next KACL team softball game, and Frederick wants Frasier to fill in for her, but Frasier doesn't want Frederick know that he sucks at sports, so he asks Martin to teach him how to play. Unfortunately, he just doesn't have a knack for it, so he has to tell Frederick the truth.
Season 5
Sneaking Around: Episode 6, "Voyage of the Damned" (1997). The gang goes on a "celebrity" cruise, and an old acquaintance starts fawning over Niles just as he realizes Maris is watching them from across the room. Frasier wants to try to save Niles's marriage, so he and Roz sneak into Maris's cabin. When they Maris come in, they hide in the bathroom, and when she leaves again, Martin shows up and confesses he had the same idea. So all three of them are hiding in the bathroom when Maris comes back with Niles.
Dead Wrong: Episode 9, "Perspectives on Christmas" (1997). When Daphne figures out that Martin has been going to church, she starts to think he's dying and doesn't want to tell anyone, just like her uncle John.
My Big Fat Greek Episode: Episode 16, "Beware of Greeks" (1998). Martin's nephew is getting married, but his mother has made it clear that she doesn't want Martin and his family there because years ago, Frasier encouraged the groom not to go to medical school and become a juggler instead. Frasier talks his aunt into letting them come, but he once again ruins the party with his advice.
Unwanted Surprise Party: Episode 23, "Party, Party" (1998). Frasier tells Martin he doesn't want to do anything special for his birthday because he's planning to watch an opera broadcast on TV that night, but a woman he's been trying to get together all week calls him to come see her before she goes away for a month. When Frasier stops at his apartment to get his keys, he finds all of his friends shouting "Surprise!" and has to find a way to sneak out.
Season 6
Murphy Bed: Episode 7, "How to Buy a Millionaire" (1998). Niles's divorce forces him to sell his swanky apartment, and the only place he can afford is in the "Shangri-la," where the bedroom is a Murphy bed complete with sheets left by its late previous occupant.
Who Owes Who What?: Episode 9, "Roz, a Loan" (1998). Roz is struggling since she and Frasier lost their jobs, so Frasier loans her $1,500. When he hears that Roz went to a spa, spent day shopping, and bought him an expensive gift, he starts to think she's frivolously wasting the money, and he confronts her about it, which pisses her off, so on their first broadcast back at KACL, he makes a nice speech about her on the air.
IQ Controversy: Episode 19, "IQ" (1999). To prove that they've grown past their childhood competitiveness, Frasier and Niles look at the IQ tests they took as children and discover that while Frasier's IQ is 129, Niles's is a whopping 156, and the old competitiveness rears its ugly head once again, with both of them boning up at the library so they can impress a group of Nobel Prize winners at a luncheon.
Season 7
Surprise Prostitute: Episode 2, "Father of the Bride" (1999). Since Daphne got engaged, Niles has been desperate to get a date, so he signs up for a dating service for busy professionals, and it turns out to be a front for an escort service, which one of Donny's clients was caught using. When Niles falls for his "Executive Match," Frasier tries to warn him, but Niles refuses to listen.
Ugly Bridesmaid Dress: Episode 2, "Father of the Bride" (1999). Daphne asks Roz to be a bridesmaid in her wedding and insists that she wear a hideous green and yellow number with "poofy" sleeves and bows.
The Plots Thicken: Episode 5, "The Dog That Rocks Cradle" (1999). After Frasier and Niles pressure Martin to plan for his future funeral, he shows the burial plot he bought, then surprises them with their own plots next to him, but Niles has been negotiating for a plot in a swanky cemetery for rich people.
Grave Mistake: Episode 8, "The Late Dr. Crane" (1999). Niles accidentally hits Frasier in the nose, and a mixup at the hospital leads to his being declared dead, and his death is reported on the local news and in the paper.
Let's Write a Song: Episode 13, "They're Playing Our Song" (2000). Kenny has asked all of the radio personalities at KACL to come up with jingles for their respective shows, so Frasier decides to write one himself, and Niles volunteers to help. The result is a massive production with a full orchestra, choir, and pretentious monologue that Kenny immediately shoots down.
Pretend We're a Couple: Episode 15, "Out with Dad" (2000). Martin pretends to be gay to escape the advances of the mother of Frasier's crush, Emily. So when Emily stops by the apartment, she brings a gay friend as a date for Martin. When Martin realizes what's going on, he claims Niles is his boyfriend. Niles plays along for a minute, but he's so disturbed by the whole thing that he pretends to break up with Martin and storms out.
Hot Mic: Episode 18, "Hot Pursuit" (2000). Niles is helping Martin with a stakeout, and accidentally honks the car horn while wearing the headphones for the parabolic microphone.
Monkeying Around: Episode 19, "Morning Becomes Entertainment" (2000). While filling in hosting a morning show, Frasier has to cook breakfast alongside a cooking chimp.
Handcuffed Together: Episode 20, "To Thine Own Self Be True" (2000). Frasier insists on throwing a bachelor party for Donny, and while interviewing a stripper dressed as a police officer, he accidentally gets handcuffed to her, and since the handcuffs are just for show, she doesn't have the key.
Poor Imitation: Episode 21, "The Three Faces of Frasier" (2000). A restaurant known for hanging sketches of the celebrities who eat there unveils a sketch of Frasier with a giant, bulbous forehead. Frasier hates it and asks the restaurant owner, Stefano, to commission a new sketch, but the new one doesn't look anything like him.
Season 8
Up on the Roof: Episode 3, "The Bad Son" (2000). Since Niles is supposed to be pretending his marriage to Mel is happy, he and Daphne can't be seen out in public, so instead, they picnic on the roof of Frasier's building. When the wind picks up, they try to head back in, but a gust of wind slams the door shut and locks Daphne outside and Niles inside, and they have to wait hours for the super to come unlock the doors.
Because He's My Butler: Episode 5, "Taking Liberties" (2000). Now that Daphne is dating Niles, Frasier thinks he needs to hire a housekeeper, and when he hears that a famous colonel passed away, leaving his butler unemployed, Frasier jumps at the chance to hire him.
Sneaking Around: Episode 7, "The New Friend" (2000). Roz stops by her new boyfriend Luke's houseboat and hears him coming in with another woman, so she hides in the closet, where she finds Frasier already in there hiding from her, and they both get stuck in there while Luke and his other woman make out.
The Old Inflatable Raft Gag: Episode 7, "The New Friend" (2000). While Roz and Frasier are hiding in the closet of Roz's boyfriend Luke's houseboat, Roz sits down on something wet, so they both reach behind them to move it out of the way, pull a cord, and inflate a raft that pushes them both out of the closet.
How the Mighty Have Fallen: Episode 12, "The Show Must Go Off" (2001). While shopping for comic books for Frederick at a sci-fi convention, Frasier runs into a Shakespearian actor he and Niles idolized as children, and they decide to put on a show for him to get back into the theater, but when they see him act again, they realize he's a hack, and they scramble to find a way to stop the show.
15 Minutes of Fame: Episode 15, "Hooping Cranes" (2001). Martin takes Frasier and Niles to a basketball game. Niles gets picked to attempt a shot from half court, and in a stroke of luck, he actually makes it. All of Martin's friends start calling to congratulate him, and Martin even asks Niles to come down to McGinty's to regale the patrons with his tale, where they give him the nickname, "Half Court Crane." Frasier gets so jealous that he challenges Niles to an arcade basketball game.
How the Mighty Have Fallen: Episode 20, "The Wizard and Roz" (2001). Frasier's college mentor, Dr. Tewksbury, meets Roz in the coffee shop, and they end up sleeping together. When Frasier shows up at Roz's apartment, he finds Dr. Tewksbury wearing Roz's skimpy pink silk robe, and the image is so shocking that he can no longer take Dr. Tewksbury seriously.
FOMO: Episode 22, "A Passing Fancy" (2001). A guy from the dog park invites all the other dogs to his dog's birthday party, but Eddie doesn't get an invitation, and Martin is irritated about it until the day of the party, when the host calls and says Eddie's invitation must have been lost in the mail.
Season 9
The Shrine: Episode 8, "The Two Hundredth" (2001). When Daphne accidentally destroys one of Frasier's tapes of his show, he goes to a fan's home to get his copy, and the fan ends up being so obsessed with Frasier's show that he has a shrine to him in his apartment.
Not Since the Incident: Episode 18, "War of the Words" (2002). Frederick is a finalist in a national spelling bee, and Niles is acting strange. When Fredrick asks Martin about it, Martin explains that Niles used to be one of the best spellers in the country, but he stopped spelling after an incident where he froze on stage.
Time Capsule: Episode 19, "Deathtrap" (2002). Frasier and Niles hear that their old house is for sale, so they break into it to dig up the time capsule they buried under the floor boards as kids. When they find a human skull, they try to find out who it was and how it got there, forgetting that they stole it from their science class when they were kids so they could use it to play Hamlet.
Replacement Pet: Episode 19, "Deathtrap" (2002). When Roz's dog eats Alice's hamster, Roz buys her a new one and tells her her old hamster got lost, but she found him. Unbeknownst to Roz, Martin had already explained to Alice that her hamster died, so Alice calls her out right away.
Whats My Name?: Episode 21, "Cheerful Goodbyes" (2002). Frasier and company are visiting Boston, and they attend a farewell party the gang at Cheers are throwing for Cliff Clavin, who is finally fulfilling his lifelong dream of moving to Florida. Cliff reveals to Frasier that he's been trying to give himself the nickname, "Big Shooter." Later, as Frasier is leaving the party, he says to Cliff, "See you around, Big Shooter."
Season 10
Homemade Wedding Vows: Episode 1, "The Ring Cycle" (2002). Niles and Daphne elope to Reno and write their own vows, which they get to say again when they have a fake wedding back in Seattle to appease Frasier and Martin.
Condo Board Coup: Episode 3, "Proxy Prexy" (2002). Frasier wants to run for condo board president, but he doesn't think he could win because he's not a "regular guy," so he asks Martin to run as a figurehead so he can pull the strings from behind the scenes. At first their partnership works well, but when Frasier refuses to widen the parking spaces in the garage, Martin goes rogue.
The Ascent of Stan: Episode 4, "Kissing Cousin" (2002). When Roz's young cousin, Jen, comes to visit, Roz tries to stay out all night clubbing with her like she used to when she was in her 20s, but she gets exhausted. When she tries to tell Jen that she's tired, Jen complains that she used to be cool and now she's all "401K or something," making Roz start to feel like she became a lame old person, but when a pathetic 47-year-old caller tells Frasier about how he's still trying to act 18, Roz decides to embrace her age.
Prank War: Episode 5, "Tales from the Crypt" (2002). It's Halloween, and Bulldog starts his usual round of pranks on Frasier. Frasier tells Roz and Martin that he wants to get back at Bulldog by playing an elaborate prank involving actors dressed as zombies, and Roz and Martin team up with Bulldog to plan a reverse prank on Frasier by convincing him that Bulldog pulled out a gun and shot one of the actors, but unbeknownst to them, Frasier is planning a reverse prank of his own.
Maid to Order: Episode 7, "Bristle While You Work" (2002). Now that Daphne has moved out, Frasier and Martin decide to hire a housekeeper. Martin insists on hiring a woman named Trish because she likes sports, but Frasier's not too sure about her. Trish ends up proving Frasier's suspicions were correct by hardly ever showing up and not doing any work when she does. Martin doesn't want Frasier to know he was wrong about Trish, so he does all the cleaning for her.
Near Death Experience: Episode 9, "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" (2002). After recovering from an open heart surgery during which he was dead for a few minutes, Niles has an insufferable new zest for life that gets on everyone's nerves, especially when he starts calling Frasier's show to offer alternative advice to his callers.
Baby Daddy: Episode 13, "Lilith Needs a Favor" (2002). Lilith wants another baby, so she flies to Seattle to ask Frasier to donate his sperm. At first, he agrees, but then he realizes Lilith is only do it as a misguided attempt to relive the past, so he declines.
Accidental Bank Robbery: Episode 18, "Roe to Perdition" (2003). When an ATM accidentally gives Martin an extra $40, Daphne convinces him to return it to the bank, but that proves to be an impossible task. After trying to return the money several different ways, Martin storms up to the teller and says aggressively, "I'm going to talk, and you're going to listen, and you're going to do exactly as I ask," leading the guard to assume he's robbing the bank and apprehend him.
Season 11
My Boys Can't Swim: Episode 1, "No Sex Please, We're Skittish" (2003). Niles and Daphne are trying to have a baby, and when Frasier reminds him that he made a donation to a sperm bank when he was in college, Niles goes to the bank to find out if his sperm was ever used, and the bank tells him his sperm was discarded because of "low motility."
Pretend We're a Couple: Episode 6, "I'm Listening" (2003). When Martin runs into Ronee at the coffee shop with another man, he grabs Roz, calls her Sheila, and pretends she's his date so Ronee doesn't think he's a desperate old man.
Accidental Eavesdropping: Episode 6, "I'm Listening" (2003). Frasier walks into the living room while Ronee's on the phone and accidentally overhears her making a date with a guy named Richard. When he tells Martin, Martin yells at him for eavesdropping. Later, he's on the kitchen floor looking for his missing money clip when he accidentally overhears Ronee and Martin arguing. Finally, he climbs into the back of Ronee's car to look for his money clip again, and Ronee and Martin climb into the front seat and have a serious conversation about their relationship.
Awkward Awards: Episode 10, "Sea Bea Jeebies" (2003). This year's SeaBeas were doomed from: due to a mixup, they had to be held in the morning, which meant Frasier couldn't get a date. Roz's bitchy sister is in town, and her husband calls to say he's leaving her in the middle of the ceremony. A reporter is there to interview Frasier, but Niles shows up and hijacks, and in his anger, Frasier accidentally knocks out a man's glass eye, so everyone is searching for it while Frasier is trying to close the event.
Magic Brownies: Episode 11, "High Holidays" (2003). When Niles realizes that he never rebelled as a child, he decides to eat a pot brownie, but Martin finds it first, eats it, and replaces it with a regular brownie. While Martin gets stoned, Niles only thinks he is.
Cherish the Cabin: Episode 14, "Freudian Slip" (2004). Ronee tells Martin that her boss has a cabin up the mountains, and he's letting her use it for the weekend. She only invites Martin to join her, but the rest of the gang manages to invite themselves along.
Sticky Situation: Episode 22, "Crock Tales" (2004). In a flashback, Martin is trying to glue a broken pot, and Frasier puts it away when Roz shows up with his blind date, "Lizbeth." Frasier shakes Lizbeth's hand and accidentally glues their hands together.
Surprise Delivery: Episode 24, "Good Night, Seattle: Part 2" (2004). At Martin and Ronee's wedding, Eddie swallows one of the rings, so Niles and Daphne rush him to a local veterinarian to try to get it out. While they're waiting, Daphne suddenly goes into labor and ends up having her baby in the vet's office.
Dead Wrong: Episode 24, "Good Night, Seattle: Part 2" (2004). Frasier invites the gang over to tell them he's moving to San Francisco. He hands out some of his belongings to them, then while he's out of the room, they hear an answering message from a doctor that convinces them all he's about to tell them he's dying.
