In this spinoff of The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Rhoda moves back to her hometown of New York City and continues her quest for love and career along with her perpetually-dieting sister, Brenda.
Weird Wedding Venue: Episode 8, "Rhoda's Wedding" (1974). Rhoda and Joe get married in Rhoda's parents' apartment. The hallway serves as the aisle, and a neighbor lady walks by carrying her groceries.
Homemade Wedding Vows: Episode 8, "Rhoda's Wedding" (1974). Rhoda and Joe write their own wedding vows.
Over-the-hill Candy Striper: Episode 24, "Ida, the Elf" (1975). Ida gets a job as a candy striper to the amusement of Rhoda and Brenda.
Back to School: Episode 24, "Ida, the Elf" (1975). Ida reveals to Rhoda and Brenda that candy striper was the only job she could get because she never finished high school. Later, she decides to go back to high school to finish her diploma.
Mi Casa Es Su Casa: Episode 25, "Along Comes Mary" (1975). Mary shows up at Rhoda's apartment out of the blue, and Rhoda insists she stay with her instead of in a hotel. When Mary turns Rhoda down, Brenda insists she stay with her.

We Were Robbed: Episode 1, "Kiss Your Epaulets Goodbye" (1975). Rhoda and Joe's apartment is robbed when Carlton lets in some guys who claim to be from Goodwill.
Reluctant Witness: Episode 14, "Bump in the Night" (1975). Rhoda bumps into a man on the street who she believes just robbed a jewelry store, and she drops her wallet. Thinking a jewel thief that she can identify now has her wallet, Rhoda is afraid to spend the night alone in her apartment while Joe is on a fishing trip.
In-home Stakeout: Episode 20, "A Federal Case" (1976). An FBI agent uses Brenda's appointment to surveil the apartment across the street.
Season 3
Ugly Bridesmaid Dress: Episode 8, "Rhoda Questions Her Life and Flies to Paris" (1976). Brenda comes home from a wedding in which she was a bridesmaid, and she's wearing a tacky, pale blue, ruffled, lacy number with a matching hat.
Lie for Me: Episode 9, "Meet the Levys" (1976). Gary wants to convince his parents that he dates nice girls, so he asks Brenda to go with him to their house for dinner and pretend to be his girlfriend, but Brenda gets sick with swine flu, so Rhoda agrees to go in her place.
False Arrest: Episode 17, "Somebody Has to Say They're Sorry" (1977). Rhoda is arrested for solicitation when an undercover cop investigating her neighbor goes to her apartment instead, and she mistakes him for a potential new client.
Plastic Fantastic: Episode 21, "Nose Job" (1977). Brenda wants to have a nose job because she thinks it will make her beautiful; Rhoda keeps trying to convince her that she's beautiful already.
Bottle Blonde: Episode 23, "Pajama Party Bingo" (1977). Brenda bleaches her hair as part of her mission to improve her looks, and Rhoda isn't a fan. It's the last straw for Brenda, who's tired of Rhoda treating her like a child, and she blows up on her.
